They filmed the rooftop scenes where Leah sets off the Hwacha and kills Pope weren't filmed at the studio all of those were filmed at the Meridian location in Griffin, Georgia. The building you see at the studio where the Junkyard once stood is the building they built for the rooftop scenes where Carlson throws the Riverbend people off the roof and Aaron kills Carlson. Also, the full view of the Riverbend location was also on the studio property the same spot that was used for Gabriels' church in Season 5 and the Lineup in Season 7. Ross Marquand confirmed this when I spoke to him a few days ago
The Daryl & Leah scene from 11x08 is at this roof located at this location. Same with Pope kicking them off the roof.
