Can we get to Bellwood Quarry? Is it private property? If we can, how do we?
It is on private property and we do not recommend going there. You can get in serious trouble visiting this locations since they are now remodeling it to become a big city park. Go at your own risk.
The Quarry is now accessible from the south side via a neighborhood that has a gate into the new trails in the county park. the entrances along Johnson Rd were still no trespassing, but the trail that passes the park to the south now has open entrances to the paths going into the park.
But the quarry has been filled to be a reservoir for the city of atlanta. it looks nothing like the shows in season 1. only the very tops of the granite walls are still visible.
